What a great way to start month of July! I found this hidden gem in Kindle Unlimited and didn’t realize it’s one of the finals in SPFBO.

One of unputdownable books I’ve read in a long time. This book seriously need to be recognize more for what it’s worth.

Highly recommended for sure.

Look at that cover of Laurel and Asher!! 😍 Book two of a trilogy is always a hit or miss for me. But Stones of Light definitely live up to my expectations. Zach Argyle just became an auto read for me.

Looking forward to Bond of Chaos ❤️❤️❤️

First off, I hope this is not the last time I will read about Fairenwild and Threadlight by Zach Argyle. I enjoyed it so much I devoured the trilogy in a couple of days. This is one of the few series I’ve read that made me think about its characters/world after reading it.

Of course not – most people we forgive are undeserving”

If you want to live a life hunched over in pain, go ahead. But if you want to stand as tall as the world deserves to see you stand, then you need to shed your burden.”

The book was frenetic and I was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster and yet it kept me going. Zach makes you love the characters and then pull your heart out and makes you scream to the void and beyond.

Who a man is at his core has nothing to do with those who came before him. It may change where you are and who you know, but the true crux of a man is defined by him alone.

The ending was bittersweet and honestly didn’t know how it will end. And I must admit, I was angry at one of the main characters but it goes to show how Zach’s writing makes you attached to his characters. A hard lesson learned us readers come to know.

“No matter what he may claim, a man’s heart never truly grows accustomed to loss. He may believe it has, but it’s not the loss that has grown dull. It is the depth of his love, driven by fear, which has grown shallow.”

Overall, Bonds of Chaos has a great ending and I can’t wait what Zach does next.

Finally, I’m so happy I managed to get an omnibus on Kickstarter.

If you have missed the campaign and still want to grab yours, they are still available in Pledgebox for a few more weeks.

I love this series so much so I hope you do as well.

Happy reading,

Liza
